About Online Help

Online Help (a.k.a "Ohelp") is a husband-and-wife team:

Scott Fordin is a writer, illustrator, and photographer with over 25 years experience in the computer industry. In addition to technical documentation and illustration, his specialities include online help and hypermedia-based information systems, information architecture and design, A/V scripts, and German translation. Prior to his work in the computer industry, he built boats, worked as a charter and delivery skipper, taught sailing, wrote and photographed for sailing magazines, and has done extensive offshore and inshore sailboat racing. In and around his work in the marine industry, he spent a dozen years doing live theater and performance art in the New England area.

Paula Fordin is a high school math teacher and courseware developer with a Masters in Education. Prior to teaching kids, she worked for more than 20 years in the computer industry as an assembly languager coder, GUI designer and engineer, engineering manager, customer service representative, and a stand-up trainer. She has taught to almost every age range, from first grade through adult. In addition to her work as a teacher, she served for five years as an elected school board representative for the southern NH SAU41 school district and designed much of the network infrastructure for SAU41.
